Alcohol and Drugs
|
Alcohol used responsibly is not the issue here.
Drugs and excessive alcohol use though can lead to many problems. Many experts also believe that the use of drugs and/or alcohol can be detrimental to spiritual growth, and potentially allow negative influences to affect you personally.
Addictions can come in many forms. Whether it be alcohol, drugs, gambling, sex, food or any other source that is used an an escape, or taking away something from your life, or harming another then please seek help. You do not have to stay in the problem, or the pain.

There are many resources available to help people out of the depths of addiction, and back into the main stream of life. Don't waste another day. Call your physician, contact a support group, a minister, or 12 step program, they are in the phone book. Whatever you do, take action. Make this day the first day of the rest of your new life. May God give you the courage and strength to ask for help.
