Inspiration for a journey of spiritual growth

Humility, Faith and Fear
One definition of humility is an honest appraisal of one's self.

Humility is essential in spiritual growth.

Pride and ego can be barriers to opening the doors of enlightenment.

On the other side of humility, be sure not to be too hard on yourself either. We must forgive ourselves of our mistakes, and accept ourselves as human beings that are not perfect.

Practice humility and your mind and heart will be opened to many more possibilities.
Faith is sometimes defined as the opposite of fear. Trusting that things will work out OK. It's easy to have faith when things are going well, but what will define you when the times are tough?

Fear can have a paralyzing effect, and is really just an illusion. Look deep inside, and more than likely fear will involve self-centered, ego driven concern of either losing something, or not getting something desired.

Trust in God to provide your needs, and you will be fulfilled and find true joy and happiness.

Thought to consider: Fear is the dark room where negatives are developed.
